Whats the general consensus, to sell or not to sel?!

Depends on whether your looking short or long term. If longer term then I'd sell, he's unhappy, and he's 28/29ish, you could get a top class striker that has more years in him for that money.
Depends on who the replacement you have lined up is.

Good point. My only worry is with this game that when I try to plan long term I tend to get sacked before I get there!

Sell him and get Fred or mybe see if you could try and get Sergio Aguero, you'll be quite looky like if you can.
