Update 05/06:
I finished the previous season at P'boro just off the relegation places so knew I'd have to bring in new faces over the pre-season. Unfortunately finances didn't allow and I had to stick with pretty much the same squad as the previous season. I spent the whole season flirting with relegation and came close to the sack on numerous occassions. Luckily with 5 games left and us looking like going down I changed formation and we finished with the following wins, 3-0, 5-0, 1-5 (away win), 4-0, 0-3 (away win), an incredible end which kept us up.

2007/2008:
The sale of our left back for £450k meant I had a bit of money to spend and I've tried to spend it wisely. Good pre-season results boded well but we started the season very poorly and didn't win for the first 7 games. However, a third of the season in and we're sat in 10th in League 2, just 1 point from the playoff places.

Finances:
The 'boro board seem happy to finance wages and money for transfers despite being in debt and I'm reluctant to spend all of this at the risk of blunging the club into banruptcy so I'm being cautious and have also lowered the wage bill considerably since taking over.

Asipirations:
A top half finish would be excellent, a playoff finish delightful.
