Why is it that I have been sounded out by the media for 2 jobs at different clubs and expressed an interest only to be overlooked on both occassions?

Is it best to not comment as my board now think I am not commited to the club? However, if I declined any interest then I would have no chance of being offered the jobs in question!

I think in Hindsight Paul Sturrock would have liked to remain at Plymouth where he was becoming a hero, instead f being Sacked in 3 months at Southampton.

Media crap on FM sucks so hard it should be sponsored by Dyson.

I was asked If I thought my current squad could gain promotion, to which I replied we'd win the League...the supporters were disappointed that I'd publicly written off our promotion chances.

Manager mind games are crap, too. Options are extremely limited, there should definitely be a "Get it right up yae" when a manager says they're gonna beat you and you give them a whumping.

Not even eye candy, it doesn't even look good.

I doubt if the mind games are eye candy tbh. I think they have an effect on the Team's morale (either in a good or a bad way), so they might affect the outcome of a game.

Speaking of which, if an AI manager slags me off and i slag him off too, my players think my comments are unprofessional, but his players don't give a rat's arse about their manager's definition of un-professionalism.

What bugs me is that I've used the media very very little in my current game, and it still has me down as a media friendly boss .

That was except for the 3 weeks I was bottom of the Spanish 3rd when I became an underfire boss

Why am I not offered jobs in the conference and League 2 but was offered a job in League 1 with 3.5 mil to spend?
