It would seem I have an addiction to the welsh, I don't know if its the fresh air, the nice people, the fact you can't even pronounce your own adress...or maybe its the sheep. (Don't knock it until you've seen the new winter collection).
So since Wales is below even Franks lowly brain I took it upon myself to pick a team at random. I picked the Pool's rather less well off namesake. Welshpool.
But don't let that photo fool you, at least 13 of those 17 players are stooges, stand in's if you will. For Welshpool has a grand total of 4 players, and 450k in the red.
The director's are pleased if I get a point out of any game, and I struggle to sign the disabled let alone talented.
Eventually things get better and by mid-november we win. The first of many (or to be technically acurate 3 in the league).
Final position after the first season (suprisingly?) 18th...out of 18. 3 wins, around 8 draws and 1 bajillion defeats.
Things are looking up though! I now seem to be able to compete in games! A few shrewd (hopefully! My ass man is down there begging them to come to liv 'ere in *cough* Welsh *cough* pool. I look forward to next season with less debt and safe in the knowledge that the fanatical enthusiasm from out fan base (all 250 of them that come to home games) is wearing thin! But the directors are pleased with me since we dont owe nearly as much as before.
So upward and onwards (or at least parralle as you can't get religated from this division MWAHAHAHA)... ladies and gentlemen...I give you Welshpool!

Not relegated? Thought teams did go down in Wales
I go down in Wales regularly...... Mind you, I'm a student in Aberystwyth (my house has a view of the far corner flag of Park Avenue! mind you, only the corner flag) And the reason the Welsh shag sheep? Because we English enjoy eating Lamb so much!
