Likely reasons:

1. Not registered
2. Played for Reserves/U-19s that day
3. The AI is cheating

Have you signed him since the season started? Did you assign him a squad number? In Portugal, any player not assigned a squad number is "unregistered" and therefore ineligible. I have not managed in Spain, so I don't know if it's the same there.


You'll probably get more joy in GQ. This really isn't an LLM question.
