I did run a team on the Eidos CM forums though where members registered as players. I'm sure you've heard of such things before..

Updates to come on my St. Albans league btw. I've just come through pre-season. Got a couple of decent results and put in some solid performances, so things are looking up..

I am also LLM'ing St Albans - I picked them because they were last IRL ... also I read Chris Pierson's bit in Nick Hornby's "My Favourite Year".

Just finished my 3rd season With St Albans (LLM stylee), having placed 2nd, 5th then 3rd and then winning in the playoffs.

Also had two decent FA cup runs 3rd round and 4th round which swelled the coffers, this enabled me to buy the players that got me promoted.

Hard slog getting players to come to you and the temptation to accept one of the many job offers was great, but glad i stuck with it.
