look dude... i do understand the meaning of the word... but that Andy has sentenced it incorrectly... he says

quote:
andyinkat
Location: Nong Khai, Thailand - on the mighty Mekong River, bordering quirky Laos
Registered: 14 March 2004. Now that's what I love about this game. One guy posts his news about managing the most obscure club in the most obscure country in the world and a fanboy from that very town reads it. Magic!

in case if you still do not see it, he used the word 'most'... can you clear the air now?

mahani - read the line after the block you quoted:

quote:
[Says he posting from notown, Thailand ]

Clearly to me, and I appreciate that English isn't your first language so it may not be so clear to you, andyinkat has indicated here that
(a) he's aware he's probably in a more obscure place than you
(b) he's kidding around - he has even used the "safety wink"
I understood andyinkat to be making a complimentary comment about the global nature of this game, certainly nothing derogatory about yourself. IMO, the same comment would likely have been made had the original post been about any of the smaller leagues in the game - use of the word "most" is more for effect than to imply an actual "ranking" of obscureness.

Anyway, regards your second point, and I'll stress upfront that I'm going to be kidding here, Malaysia couldn't even beat a club side that are "a disgrace to the Premiership"((C) The Daily Star) last summer when we visited you

Mahani - take a deep breath. Cool it, please.

Please just accept that Andy meant nothing derogatory by his comments, he was just marvelling at the game called football, and how on this forum we can find out about small football clubs thousands of miles away (as you can about small Conference teams over here).

This forum is a global one: we has regulars from across Europe (East and West), North and South America, Australia, New Zealand and, er, Wales . We gladly welcome your input as it adds a new dimension to our understanding of club football across the World.

But if you must resort to insulting the regulars, you'll be on a hiding to nothing.

I have tried to defuse the situation and yet you still don't understand, Mahani.

We have tried telling you that you've got the wrong end of the stick, and now you have started abusing the regulars. I am not closing some poor guys thread, so you have one last chance to get up and walk away from this or I will start dishing out warnings.

You have caught me on a good day, because I would have done it by now usually.

Let Englandspor carry on his update, so no more fuelling regulars.
