I used Frank(called me infidel)and got Cambridge City which play in the BQS

so i need some clarification here: may i sign some legends which may become available in the future? i know y'all will scrutinize me and see i've been to the Good Player Guide, but that was when i was playing with larger teams, and frankly, gotten sick of it. so for example, when legend X who once played for Manure wants to join my club, am i allowed? it may not be totally realistic as legend X is currently in the employment of a Premier League Club.

If your scouts find him in the course of their normal duties and recommend him, then yes.

But you don't just sign Player X because they used to be/are currently great in real life.

If your scouts find any player and then he is interested to join your team then you are in a position to sign him.

ah i see, so it depends on scouts, contract negotiations etcs like in real life

Should have added - you also don't go and scout the player individually on the back of your knowledge of him, though you could if the game draws attention to him via a news item. Also you don't deliberately scout a team knowing about the players that are there.

Oh yeah, can you also use the player search function to scout for free players? If not, I can't see how you find freebies...

Yep, you can send him on scouting trips based on age, nationality, price, contract...any number of things.

And aren't the grey teams irritating? You wish you could do a Harvant and Waterlooville but the grey teams always get in your way, denting your chance of a cup run. Shouldn't something be done about this? A decent cup run means more money, which is important in LLM.

I don't think money is that important in LLM, Every club I go to loses money like no ones business, the board always moan but nothing ever comes of it.

IRL,cups just get in the way of the league - unless you get a plum draw where you know you'll sell out. This is especially true in the lower levels, where there are far too many cup competitions.
