whats your best tactic? i try loads that work and some that dont, whats your favorite?

jambo dave 3-5-2 works wonders, but for 1 season only.

i used jamo dave tactic for west ham first season:

and i won the league

second season i used it (still west ham):

i finished 5th (no CL)
and got knocked out of everything at the first hurdle

I then started a new game with west brom and used jambo dave 3-5-2

first season:

narrowly missed out on promotion in the play off final

second season

i finished 14th in the championship and got sacked

the bugel home and away. 8th seaon at leeds, 4 league titles, 3 champ leagues, 2 facups, 2 league cups, 2 euro super cup and 2 charity shields. use this along with my hints and tips thread and ul go a long way

Jambo daves works fine for me. I'm in my 11th season with arsenal and have won pretty much everything along the way(bar a few cups).

I think it relies heavily on how good a team you've got i've had no problems but arsenal have a lot of good players and money. As long as you've got quality it works. Not sure about lower league teams though.

tbh mate, you could win very tournament with arsenal, whatever tactic you use

a 4-4-2 diamond with the amc making a run to the fc position straigh ahead of him. using this i won all competitions possible with liverpool in 1st season, only loosing 1 game which was in a carling cup semi final match 1-0. i was 4-0 up from the 1st leg so i didnt think i was going to loose really.

dirk kuyte was my star player. top scorer in club with 45 and 26 in the premier league
