I'm buying the game tomorrow after playing all the previous versions.
I have a black macbook and I was wondering if I need to buy a special mac disk or can I just buy fm2008 regular disk, does it work for both mac and pc?

I don't have a mac but the front cover on the game has a mac symbol so it should be all the same.

Yes its the same version for everyone. Mac and PC on the same disc.
