I can't win at this game either, but I'm Bury and only expected to finish 20th. I didn't raise expectations at the start so I wasn't worried about the sack.

Got all the complaints from fans about my new signings, 'why don't you change tactics', etc. I was thinking the whole time I had krap players. Turns out I was right. A few loans and a mid-year signing and now I'm winning. But I did have 12 straight losses D2, which was a first for me. Now I'm playing out the year looking at maybe 18th. Love the challenge. (Maybe this goes in the realism vs fun thread).

Anyway, I'd suggest stick with it. Good tactics won't hurt. But maybe there's a gel issue in FM08. Patience yng Pd0in.

if you cant win, then you have to freshen up on ur tactics, remember...buying the best player is not an easy way to success, u have to make them gel and play well together
