I have a player that is transfer listed by request. He is a star player and I didn't want him to leave. After a month with no interest, I looked at his personal page, and it says he is now unsure if he wants to leave team. I can't go in and unlist him, so what should I do? This guy is my captain and alot of people would be upset if he left. Will he request to be taken off the list eventually or will he be that way for the entire duration of his contract?

I woruyld take him off the list and attempt to get him to extend his contract.

If he doesn't want to sign then he would go back on the list until he is sold.

Like you said, the manager can't de-list a player listed by request.

I've been in a similar situation and my player asked to be taken off the transfer list, so you may get the same request from your star player.

You should try to extend his contract once he's off the list by request.

he will eventually ask to be taken off the list, i had the same thing with Andreas Isaksson

In the meantime, keep working everything else you can do to make him like you better: starting him week in and week out, offering a new contract, praising (if he's the sort that likes praise) or criticising (if he's the sort that thrives on criticism), team talks, tutoring, everything you can think of.

Keep him happy and he will eventually ask to come off the list- if he is still performing then dont let it worry you because this has been an ongoing problem in several versions.
