Just tried a game with Barcelona and thought i check what there season tickets sell for. Id sold 41888 at the time and made 5.7mil income. That works out at roughly £136 per ticket. WTF is up with that? Ill buy 10 if thats what they go for in real life.
Im sure a barca season ticket is worth well over £500 so they are losing over 3 times the amount of profit they should be getting. whats the point in having such a big ground if you only make as much money on it as a 30k seater. It actually makes you less money with these prices for a bigger ground as maintenence is higher. Any chance of a fix for this?
Tickets are actually very reasonable at Barca - and not just Barca, in Europe generally, i know someone who not long ago paid £9 to watch Dortmund . I remember reading a piece in FourFourTwo about how tickets at the Nou Camp were cheaper than at Spotland (Rochdale)
That £138 will have been put in there by the Barca researcher and i presume he knows what he's talking about
I've seen two games in Rome. The second time I went was in March, and 2 tickets cost a total of 30 Euro's in the Curva Sud. That's about 10 pounds a ticket!
Real Madrids season ticket is about £600 on this game though. almost 4 times as much as barca's. im sure barca dont need to put there tickets so low to fill the stadium. They could sell out there season tickets at a much higher price than £136. Thats like £6 pound a game...way to cheap!
Barca League Season tickets cost between 81 and 684 euros per their website. A middle of the road ticket seems to be about 300, so about 210 quid by todays exchange rate.

Actually I think you are wrong. I'm from Barcelona (althought I support Real Madrid :p), and season tickets are far more expensive. Of course there are different kinds of position, but the average price is about £600 I think
