:thup: to you ArseneFM.. I am also enjoying the game. It aint perfect atm but (after the scottish fixture bug was fixed) the game is very playable, and I am having fun doing so.

Anyway, for Mr Greg Andrade, personally I dont think the Morale is "massively broken". If you wins and player gets high stats, morale goes up. If you lose dont go to harsh on them especially away.

This thread is purely for refreshing the atmosphere and remind people that even with the Beta patch the game is not "crap" as some unfortunate people declared. Especially I see a vicious cycle like this:

1. One player lose a game against weaker teams
2. One player knew it is a "Beta Patch"
3. Therefore that player assumed it is the match engine's fault
4. That player comes and rant on the forum
5. Then anybody who lose a match they should've won now started blaming the match engine and the "Beta" patch.

I do not consider any of your comments constructive and If you do decide to be a little destructive and insulting to people like me then I assume your body acted without your brain's intervention.

Mr Jose Morinho for example, just in terms of tactical knowledge or motivation, he is a top top manager.

However, whenever his side loses, it is ALWAYS someone else's fault, Messi dived, Referee biased, bla bla bla, it is never his fault.

I really hope FM players should learn what he is good at, i.e. tactical shrewdness and motivational ability. However, "I lost and it must be something else's (the match engine's) fault" is unfortunately not something people should learn.

Unfortunately yes I am. Because I fail to see why the original poster, Mr. ArseneFM, can make big claims about patches in a definite tone without any evidence to support them. And I feel that it is unfair for him post something like "you have the right to remain silent" to people holding different views (fourth post of this thread). Freedom of speech is banned in Mr. ArseneFm's threads?

I personally think that Mr. ArseneFm has failed to see the other side of the story, yet he assumes that everyone who complains about bugs or everyone who is waiting for the patch before they start a new game are somehow mislead about the state of the game.

I am sure that there are plenty peopel, like me, who have played the game with the beta patch and experienced genuine gamebreaking bugs such as no new contract offered/getting sacked for overachieving with a non-top league side. Because SI has recorded this as a known issue, we expect this bug to be fixed in the full patch. Therefore I think that the full patch will make a huge difference to the game than the beta patch and the difference is my very position as a manager of a team (in fm 08 of course ). Our opinions are based on experience and facts, whereas Mr.ArseneFM's is not.

By the way Abs_UK, thanks for reminding me about text speak. I myself come from a non-English speaking background and I have forgotten the needs of those others.

Actually, this is false. SI testers have already confirmed that morale drops in all circumstances, even in many instances when clubs win and players get high match ratings.

Check the bugs forum and you will find many postings from users who have had taken clubs on winning streaks of 10 matches or more, and yet their players are nearly suicidal.
