I'll also throw my two penneth in and say that I think it's just fine. Enjoying playing and not had any real issues with it do far after the beta patch.

wish people would stop whining and just play the flaming game or go return it. Amazing how people who feel so strongly about it spend all their time here moaning about it. Now if that isnt sad!

3. their imaginations are called experience, and
4. others who hold different views never use their brains.

I admit the existence of those ppl in the world and I don't want to argue with those ppl or try to change their rather sad state of mind.

ArseneFM does have a point to the extent that since there has already been two beta patches then the full patch may not have huge differences.

However the official patch will have most if not all major bugs fixed…

However after patching to the second beta patch people should be able to play the game as the main patch will like all patches be save game compatible.

Wolfsong, cut out the text speak. There are users whose first language is not english/text speak and therefore it is important to post in a way that everyone can understand.

I am not actually sure what people expect the patch to do bar fix bugs? Arsene has a point to be fair.

The game experience will be similar.

All I am trying to do is to save the agony those who believes the "real patch" is gonna be 100% perfect and fix everything. In fact no patch will be perfect. It is like that in FM05, 06, 07 and it will be like that in 08.

Thats why I say about past experience and there are "ppls" here who think thats imgination

I, and most people who know how to play will still give FM08 a 7.5 out of 10 even it is with the Beta patch. I hope it may reach 8.5-9 after the real patch but the difference wont be huge.

the only major problem that needs fixing in my opinion is the game speed. needs to be fast again.

It is useless to start a new game. Morale remains massively broken with the beta patch, straight from the start of any saved game. It's the largest and most crippling coding problem that I've seen in the series, and it hugely affects player and club performance.

So my copy of FM08 remains unplayed since the day the beta patch was released.
