Aren't you the one who's supposed to set it up though?
Just choose a date and then request a friendly.
They migght not accept that date you choose so just try another one, they should accpet fairly easily.

I agree with you. Perhaps it just seems to be the dates you are trying are not good for the first team. Have a look at their fixtures list before you offer a date to them. </BLOCKQUOTE>
No it's not. ManU always did the same to me (Newport). I had to cancel the relation since it was silly. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I believe the contract states that they have to accept a friendly invitation. They dont have to play with any of their first team players though but do have the responsibilty of fielding a team. If the refused you should take them to court or something. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I could play with their u18, but any u18 accepts me. So I cancelled the relation. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Ive never gotten match offers from my parent clubs or feeder clubs for that matter but havent had a problem setting up matches with them yet, theyve always agreed so I was unaware there might be a bug. Well certainly if yr feeder teams never ask for a friendly that's a bug allright.
About playing with youths under 18 you should be more detailed as it could possibly be misconstrued.

Sorry, I mispelled :p My english s*cks, I mean that all u18 teams accept my friendlies, but most first squads reject me.
ManU rejects me,but ManU u18 accepts. Since all u18 teams agree to play with me, if ManU u18 plays with me is not because is my parent club. So, be ManU feeder only prevents me to have a good parent club. In my first game in fm2008 i cancelled relation with manu and board linked me with bristol rovers; they sent me a couple of great players. ManU hadn't gave me nothing.
