In game commentary - anyone having problems with this?
Forgive me if this has been mentioned elsewhere. Having just taken a look at the topics on the forum, I see that many of us are having various problems with 08.
I just started my game and am already frustrated with the following problem:
During some pre-season friendlies, the commentary that runs during a game and the action on the screen often are totally out of snyc and often so completely random. For example, out of nowhere the text will award a goal even though one has not actually been scored. A replay will then be shown, showing no goal whatsover. To make it worse, later in the game this phantom goal can sometimes disappear from the in-game record. So, if the score was 2-0 after 56 mins...you would sometimes see the score change to 1-0 or 1-1 when this clearly shouldn't be.
Has anyone else had this and does the patch address this problem? It's really affecting my desire to continue with this title.

I agree that commentary has mistakes.
The most common fault i can remember is,out of nowhere, writing something like "the only outcome here" and stops.many other phrases can appear with no point.Goals like these you said most of the times are disallowed.
I think that this happen's more when you use only commentary.when you watch extented or key highlights it doesn't

Actually, that's just my problem. When I watch the extended highlights goals will suddenly appear. True, when the commentary box flashes an unseen goal, it usually doesn't register. But then, from out of nowhere you'll find one or two goals suddenly tacking on to the score.
This isn't a case of the commentary track eventually catching up ....it's just randomised and making it impossible to adapt and change accordingly.
Any ideas?

No, I haven't installed anything else which may disrupt the game. I'll uninstall / install and see what that yields.
One thing I did note - more than once, on the desktop, a notice flagged up claiming that part of the disk was corrupt or may not run correctly. It was a notice from the Sonic program but I have no idea how that would affect my game.
