Hi,

I was wondering I have seen plenty of teams managed or built up in the main European leagues, but havent seen any from the smaller Europan nations, not England, Spain, Italy, Grmany or Portugal. When I say a super/big team I mean on that has won the champions league a few times (or their continents version) and their domestic cup and could compete with Barce or Milan on the same terms. Even better from another continent??? How about a 100,000 seater stadium (starting from small ones), billion pound balances and a squad of worldclass players. Has anyone done it with tams from smaller nations??

This is worth a read. In Gundo's challenge last year I won the CL 3 times with a team from Northern Ireland, so it is definitely possible.

Thanks for the link Dafuge, I did about that know the challenge, but hadnt ralised anyone had completed it. Congratulations with that game! I will have a read about it. You see I have always heard people winning things with the ussual big teams or in the big leagues, but have always wonderd about the possibility of doing it in any nation. Singapore, Chile, Slovenia, India etc. It would be great to give the world club championship more of a world cup sense. Since 2000 it has only been won by big brazilian or a European club (AC Milan). I think the possibility of making such a big club from a small nation like these is really hard! I guess you would have to wait for the countries national stats and squad improve over a number of seasons. I'm really thinking of starting a game in a not so well known country and trying to make it as big a club as you can gt, but the chances ar so small I think

The problem is that league reputation plays too big of a role in this game...... no matter how much money you have and how succesful you are, you can not attract quality players to your club if the league reputation is low

Yep that what i was trying to say in my post above. So you would hav to wait for th national team to do wll, hope new rgn youngstrs come who are good, have a great acadmy tc and also do wll in the continental comptitions to improve the quality of your leagues reputation. It would take a while, but after some hard work it should be possible and a big achievement right? For example a smaller lague in south america would have as their access to better players in surrounding leagues like Argntina and Brazil, and as their reputation increased would be able to get better and better players

I found that I was able to attract players from eastern Europe that became good enough to play at that level, of course as soon as they got good enough someone would pinch them off me.

Thats true, so what i am saying is definately possibl and I'm not getting caught up with this idea? I am sure a few popl around have done it aswell, so I'm looking forward to see them. I think I will hav a go in S. America. Can Peru buy any player in south america and not need to have a work permit, like EU Players in Europe?
