Hi,

I have searched through the forum for answers, but with no result.

My discussion point is;

How do I start a new game where I do not immediately start off at my preferred club, but start when my preferred club has no manager? i.e. to maintain realism

What is your preferred club? You could start unemployed and build up your reputation slowly, although this could take too long if your preferred club is a very high profile club...

In that case you could create a dummy manager and keep going on holiday until your club is managerless, then add a new manager (you).

My preferred team is of course Tottenham.
Building up my reputation at another club is the best way, I see what you mean.

The dummy manager is an interesting way to get the job, I might try that.

I was wondering whether there was a specific setting at the "new game" screen, which allowed me to start the game with Tottenham (after being on holiday), only when they have no manager.

I think my question is probably a long shot for an answer, but worth a try!

No actual setting, the holiday method is the best way to do it.

thanks guys, i am going to go with the holiday option you suggested; "apply for jobs at higher positions" and "return from holiday when offered a job".
