You could always just put your own background on an existing skin.

In your skins graphics folder there is a backgrounds folder. Get the background you want for your skin and replace it with the default one

No offence mate but if you don't know how to change a background how do you expect to make a skin, they're very complicated. You have to rename the current default background to anything except default then copy and paste your chosen background and rename it default
