I will wave the screenshots at him and see what he thinks. He's been playing since before me, back in the early CM era on the Amiga. The general changes I make are:
[LIST]
Change the font to something like Arial, which has more 'internal character space' - i.e. it is less chunky and hence easier to discern

Increase the font size where possible, especially things like the news screen where there's plenty of real estate to go at. I increase it as much as can so it's still readable within the areas it fills. May not look as pretty, but that's not really the concern

Use PSP to darken most of the screen elements and lighten the text so you get better contrast. Admittedly, the new dark grey sidebar is going to help!

I believe I changed some of the icons in some way, but I can't remember right now!
I'm sure I've done some more things too, but I can't remember off the top of my head. I will have a look when I get back home on Sunday.
I should probably mention that he is registered blind, so when I say partially sighted, I mean he needs a cane to get around

He can read the text quite well when he gets his head close to the screen, but obviously really small text is of no use!
I can quite easily put you in contact with him if you want to go into more detail. Just use the e-mail on my profile (with the obvious changes!)
@rasestock - While that is a reasonable suggestion, it tends to be better to run the game at the lowest possible res fullscreen, which makes text as large as possible.
@Barnsley - Villa actually, although I spend plenty of time in Molineux with friends (and in the Bescot, truth be known).
