What are you wanting a tutorial for? To create face packs? or how to install them?

Here is tutorial:
- Delete all things beside players face
- Resize picture to 180px hight
- Resize canvas to 180px width
- export it as PNG

It's rude but it work Hope I've helped.

You first need a graphic editing tool like Adobe photoshop CS3 its what I use.

However it's really expensive ( I only use it as my school gives for free to all graphics students); but there are lots of free ones out there however I don't know any off the top of my head, try Google.

Gimp is free, also Paintshop Pro 3.0 (might be hard to find, but this is a free version of Paintshop pro)
