if you have the old 2006 fmm you can take the language file from that (default location: CProgram Files\FM Modifier 2.0 )

its called eng.txt. drag the file to the desktop. now upgrade you fmm modifier to the latest version (the chinese one) and go into the directory (now located at: CProgram Files\FM Modifier 2.1 )

you should see a file called chinese.txt, (either delete it or rename it chinese.txta)

now you need to rename the eng.txt file on the desktop to chinese.txt and place it into CProgram Files\FM Modifier 2.1.

startup fmm and you will then have 90%of the program in english (the only parts that arent are the dropdown boxes and the tabs down the side, but if you used the old fmm all the buttons are in the same place.)

if you upgraded before i wrote this, you need to either:
a) uninstall the new version, install old, follow the above instructions.

or

b) donload the chinese.txt filr from http://www.sendspace.com/file/z1p5q5 and overwrite the one in the directory.

infact i have just realised everyone can download the ne chinese version but overwrite the chinese.txt file with the one from http://www.sendspace.com/file/z1p5q5.

if you dont know where to overwrite the txt file its in the directory CProgram Files\FM Modifier 2.1.

NOTE: the above directory is only availiable to people who have already upgraded

to upgrade visit http://game.ali213.net/thread-1171005-1-1.html and download both parts. unrar the parts and install. the installer is in chinese, but the buttons are in exactly the same space as normal ones.

If this is for the latest version of FMM for FM2006, then why not just download the english version? or is this for FM2007?

this is for the new 2007 version.

its using the 2006 version language file.

I've got the new version running, with *mostly* English text, but it's not quite doing what it should....

You can select your squad, "heal" them to 100% condition and Superb morale but the "INJ" tags remain in place - hence those players cannot be selected for match day.

This is what I really wanted it for, 'cos it's only September and I've already got 6 major injuries .....

me too entigy, there is a goalkeeper called david lucas and i wanted to sign him see how hed play but hes injured till mid-january which is no good.

i noticed it wont heal them too. but we'll have to wait and see if it gets re-added, or fixed.

i dont know if you can tell but writing with a mouse is really hard. it looks messy i know.this is just showing that it can be done (changing the language) ill try to do a neater one.
