I like playing FM as close to RL as possible, so got the Weegie update.
Plus made the real fixtures
But when i start a new game all players are getting bought, And moving when they have only just signed for their clubs in RL.
Like Stephan Jordan at Burnley keeps being sold, I've even tried to stop it by making him not for sale with FM Save Game editor.
But they sold him about 2 weeks later anyway.
I even tried going on holiday untill the first game of season, But again players had moved to different clubs and stuff.
I just want to get to the first game of the season and onwards so i can play the real fixtures with the real players at this moment in time,But when i get to the Real Fixtures half of the players at the teams have gone

So my question is there any way to stop transfers for first part of the first season?
Or keep all the players at the clubs just at start though, Obviously the next season i want players to move and stuff.
Just the first season i don't.
So it's like real life at the moment.

Yes give him a future transfer for like so many years into the future, when hes about 36 ish, that will mean he stays at burnley until his new transfer goes through

I've never used real fixtures, but I do use a system that may help. When it comes do deciding wich leagues and countries you want, activate Sweden, first league and see only, not play (I use the portuguese language, don't really know how it is with english, but you probably know what I mean). Then, chose to start on Sweden, March 2007. This means that no player will be transfered until the end of the first season...
