Creating detailed players from scratch, and how to calculate CA?
I basically want to know the best way to create new players from scratch who have detailed stats and also fit seamlessly into the balance of the game. I want to make my self and quite a few people who I play football with.
First I thought the best way to do this was to generate their stats and details etc and then calculate the CA from this. Then I would make this their PA, and lower the CA to a realistic level. In theory I was hoping this would make them roughly develope into the original stats. However I thought maybe this would have a few faults. Firstly I understand that foot strength and other details have a bearing on the CA, so if I lower the CA would their foot strengths and other important details become obscured and innacurate?
I think maybe a better way of doing this would be to create their stats to a fixed CA, say 160, and then hope they develope properly.
I have two questions: 1. Is there a list of what contributes to a players CA, and is there a way to calculate this?
2. What is your method of creating detailed players from scratch?
Thanks.

Creating detailed players from scratch, and how to calculate CA? Post #2
CA and stats do not go hand in hand. Indeed, once you load up a game a player's stats will change from what they were in the editor, depending on CA.
So you have to create the stats independently.
I think the only thing you can do to calculate CA/PA is to look at the CA/PA of players in leagues or clubs you want to make the player similar to. Then allocate the CA and PA accordingly.
