Sorry for double post but something sprug to mind about your last comment. The asian club qualified for the ACL, but what about the team that won there respective league, would they be kicked out the competition becuase of a lack of spaces?

Eg. If only one team could qualify from the saudi league and you moved say Al-Hilal from the saudi league to the Premiership, and they won it, qualified for the ACL, what would happen to the winner of the saudi league, they cant qualify because that would mean more than the default amount. If you understand me.

Hold all those thoughts. This is the solution.

Make sure you have the 8.0.1 patch or the following will not work.

You have to set Rangers' and Celtic's nationality as English (otherwise they can't qualify for Europe). The club nationality has to be set as English for no other reason than they are being placed in the Premiership.

That's all - in the 8.0.1 patch they can still be located in Glasgow (by stadium) and you can put them in whatever league you want, but because of being located in Glasgow will still produce Scottish youth/regens.

I had the same problem trying to make a nation but the 8.0.1 patch fixes that.

I understand what you mean, and I'm not sure tbh. I haven't tried it myself so I don't know what does happen.
