Maybe the post is too ambiguos to get a response/thread going.
With respect, I'm not sure what you want.
Yes training and tactics are linked, but 4-4-2 covers a multitude of possibilities. For example do you have a creative player or is your team a bunch of clogers?
Do you want to play quick/direct as well as a slower mixed or short game? Or both?
The training preferences you have should be aimed at getting the best from the players you have...then decide on tactics according to home/away and the style you think will get a result for you.
If you don't have the players to fit the tactics and can't train them to improve in areas you want, the either change the players, or the tactics.
As an example, lets say you want to play with wide AM players. Ball Control, Attacking and Set Pieces (corners/crossing) are obvious things to emphasise in the traing you do. However, since you don't mention anything about this and you don't mention coaches or player adapatbility (not even the team you play with) you shouldn't be peeved 'cos nobody posted a reply.
I suggest you find the Shefield Project post by Cleon and anything by WWfan, Asmo or other 'class acts'. There's a ton of great stuff hidden away and a bit of homework is well worth it.
You could even try some of the 'Seasoned Alchohlic' dowloads as a starter and see if it works for you.
Good luck!
