Not many of these type of tactics around, and its always been my preferred style really. Don't believe I have ever posted a tactic before, so this is long overdue. I am playing in 7.02 patch.
I don't want to post a collection of pictures on what each player has as there own instruction though. I'll expain what I would look for in player attributes for this tactic in a moment.
For now I am Wrexham, a struggling League Two side really. Been playing some awesome football with this tactic, but the strikers are quite wasteful with easy chances. I guess that down to their age as mot of what I have played have been under 20.
Most of my side is probably under 21, its not the greatest collection of players about thats for sure. But with this tactic I have been able to dominate most games completely. There have been a couple I haven't so far, Bolton in the league cup had the better of me, Wycombe away had the better of me. But all in all my poor side has been on top.
Ok so the players:
GK: Go for what you normally would with a goalie
LCB: I personally prefer a LCB to play here. Someone with tackling, pace, marking skills. Jumping, heading, passing helps. Because he is on the left of a 3 he'll cover the B position at times, hence why I prefer he to be able to perform on the left. A normal CB should do almost as well
RCB: Same as above, but with his position as RCB
CB: Same again, but marking is not so important as this player seems to tend to bring the ball out more. He is extra cover in a back 3, and should be the most creative defender.
LWB: I have Matt Lockwood and he is superb in this role. A bit of tackling, crossing and pace is needed. Someone with good long shots helps as the chances get created for them from range. Passing is a bonus
RWB: Same as above, but with position as RWB instead.
DMC: Tackling, Passing, Stamia and Long shots suit for here. Strength is a bonus
MC: I have been playing AM's in these two positions, but I don't see why a MC wouldn't do. Passing, Creatitivity, Finishing, Compusure, Pace for these. Passing and Finishing are most important. Long Shots isn't that big a bonus. The better crossing MC should be on the left in this, as he will cross more.
FC: The rigth sided forard is set to hold up the ball, the left will cross from byline. Pace and finishing seem most vital. Crossing, composure are bonuses.
The tactic plays on the break and quick forwards will torment the opposition.
Matches like this have been common through the season, simply bossing sides about. The Shots On to Shots off target i not a reflection of where they have been from, more down to poor finishing from my players.
