I've done some searching, but couldn't find anything "useful" (maybe I didn't search thoroughly enough - they really should give each FM game a separate category).
Anyway, yesterday I played a match which I controlled totally - shot stats were: 22 shots, 5 on goal, and my opponent had 3 shots, 1 on goal. The result: 1-1 - my team went behind 10 minutes from time, but managed to score 5 minutes later. The "funny" thing is that my players had good chances to score - more than a third of the shots where taken from inside the box, but as you can tell by the stats, only a select few actually hit the target.
What I'd like to know is if I earlier in the match had changed team mentality to be more/less attacking (it was 2 or 3 notches above normal), would my attackers have had more luck in hitting the goal, or was it just a case of seriously bad luck? My players usually hit the target at least on half of their chances, although lately my opponents seem to play a bit more defensively, and if that's the reason I can't score all of a sudden, I need to find a solution because I'd certainly hate to see that happen again.
