My first season was not good. I came third with Liverpool, sold a few and bought a few players and now all of a sudden, I can't put away any chances.

In my first season, I won almost all my home games (and had the best record) and had a terrible away record in which I lost more than I won.

This season, my away record is worse than last season. I don't really understand why because it says that if you create clear chances, you will score more goals and lots of chances under pressure yet my strikers score probably 1 out of 7 one-on-ones (just guessing) but score alot of headers and rebounds. The opposition manage to score goals under pressure, score and almost always score their first shot on target (even though they are under pressure). I have an equal or greater number of shots and a far greater number of clear chances but they still score more.

Pazzini hasn't scored a one-on-one since he came to the club even though he has much better finishing and composure than my previous poacher Bellamy.

At home, I just concede almost every game and these all come the same way. A throw-in into the box and a player is for some reason left free despite being outnumbered and still having enough time to turn and shoot. An under-pressure shot from outside the box that still goes in. An under-pressure one-on-one. A free-kick passed along the for a player to turn and shoot inside the box. This happens time and time again.

I would understand if I wasn't creating good chances but although it is hard to create them when they 'park a bus' infront of goal, I still create them but they miss all the time.

I will send some pkm files if anyone is interested but I just want some help.

Tried a diff formation? I found i had this and so far im doing alright with 4-1-3-2 instead of 4-4-2 which went a bit stale. Goals dried up and i started struggling to make chances

You are the victim of re-ranking, happens if you play really good for a season or two... you usually have to go offensive as hell to break their bus parking, while retaining the stability defensively if they hit you on the counter.

in other words, you're in for a tough season

It happens. Why I don't know. I got upto 5th with Villa in my first seaon. Next season got cash to spend from lerner, strengthened the squad with players like matteo ferrari, shaun wright philips, adebayor and kim kallstrom. Ended up 17th in the league, and got sacked.

Now with my Udinese game I am 3rd with 8 games to left, lets see how things turn in the nect seaon

This game is the best ever. I went out of all the cups, lost two matches in a row against the top teams which I should have won easily and was 15 points off the pace. For some reason, Tottenham were beating all that stood before them and were miles on top of the league. Fast forward 10 games later and they are 2 points ahead of me and have to player Chelsea who are three points ahead of me. United are 3 points ahead and Arsenal are four points ahead in first position (from coming from behind me!). Both I, United and Chelsea are away and I knew I had could win and guarantee Europe on the last day of the season against sixth place Blackburn!

The away games are veery difficult as they seem to be more clinical but I am unbeaten in 10 and have only draw 2. I played a bit more narrow after studying my previous losses and reduced the gap between midfield and defense. Still though. First minute and STEPHEN WARNOCK scores a free kick against me! I was ****ed. But Momo Sissoko hits back immediately followed by Crouchy! I sit back and try to soak up the pressure and get some great chances on the break but the keeper is having a blinder. Then Reina makes an incredible double save to Stop Pedersen and McCarthy.

I change things round at half-time as I see them bring on Sergio Peter, their young right winger with bags of pace and according to my scout, a potential 'leading winger'.

I move Carragher to the left to nullify him and take off Aurelio for Barzagli. I have four centre backs in the back four shielded by Alonso. Carragher, Richards, Barzagli, Agger. They have no shots on target second half. Crouchy and Lavezzi complete the scoring to make it 4-1 and punish their overzealous attacking.

No Champions League football for Tottenham and the big four remains the big four. Now I have money to spend for the new season....

I think my problem was that I sold too many senior players and replaced them with fantastic young players that weren't good enough for the challenge a la Arsenal. This season, I have Owen, Pazzini, Klose and Kuyt upfront. Experience and talent with Aguero on the bench. I sold Alonso (30 mill) and Crouch (Player's player of the year, top scorer, fan's player of the year two times and best player twice but 25 mil) though. Van der vaart was rubbish and I'm not giving him another chance (30 mil). Bout loads of fantastic youngsters against and sent them out on loan but now I have Ledley King. Lets see if I suffer!
