i have tried all now , looked at all theories ..tried some dl tacts and none really seem to impress me

i think you have to play at least one DM , but then i think you seem to get over run in midfield

if you play a three man centre midfield you seem to miss having two strikers

you have to play a flat back four dont you

also would be nice to hear from some clan players or online players as winning online is for some reason much harder online

i dont want tactic downloads just theories and what works and what dont work

i play a wierd looking formation , seems to get all my players involved , many making up to 100 passes in a game ..but i seem to get rocked against certain formations

Hi dooter,

I use 4-4-2. I use farrows on the wingers to determine how attacking I want to play,

In game I my change to 4-1-4-1 to defend a lead in the last 10 mins.

I go 4-2-4 if I need a goal in the last 10 mins.

I've never tried 3 at the back as it isn't my style, but I believe it could work with the right players.

Have you considered 4-1-2-1-2 playing short and narrow. This seems to meet your criteria, however you will not produce many opportunities from crosses and potentialy get over run on the wing.

I think the best formation is the one you want to play as it gives you most gaming experience and entertainment out of the game. All formations work if you understand how the game works.

well that didnt work did it

i have a flat back 4 , one dm to the left side and one cm with a barrow on the right of centre

three am , all with arrows pointing to the lone striker
