Apologies, but i need help. I'm having work permit issues. I have just got forest promoted to the Prem and have around 5mill. So i went for eddie johnson, he's played a few USA games so I figured he'd get a work permit.... Our survey says NO!

They turned me down. Now I would normally sign and then re-offer a contract but for two reasons i didn't firstly I've got a few players now that I've signed with that in mind and they have failed to be granted one on the further contract offers.

Secondly it was too much of my budget if it didn't come off. Any ohter suggestions? I feel like i'm being hampered because of forests low rep.... Argh!

The only suggestion is to send him to a work permit feeder club or wait until you can get a work permit

Leeturner is correct you could send him to a feeder club while he gets a passport there to avoid wp.
The only downside is it takes 3 years and in that time you could have found a better player or he dont fit into your plans, so i would wait till he is able to get a wp.

cheers guys, I thought there wouldn't be a quick fix. On the upside Chelski have offered me 7.5mill for doudin, so i may be able to get an eu player thats as good as johnson.

How does this feeder club-thing work? I mean, you can't loan a player out to a feeder club if you haven't bought him, which you can't without a work permit?

If you have a WP feeder club then you can sign players without a WP, but they can't play for you, until they get a WP
