I've been managing Derry City for a few seasons now in whats been a pretty mediocre career so far. All the good players I scout never want to join the club, or even go on loan. Most of the other League of Ireland clubs like Cork City, Shelbourne, or Bohemians never have any trouble signing good players from English Championship teams on loan. These same players wouldn't look at me sideways when I offer them a place at the Brandywell. Is there any players out there that would love a chance to play League of Ireland even on loan,does anyone know of some good overseas players looking to get a start with the Candystripes?

Well They probably have a higher reputation than you do.
I ran into this problem when I was manager of Sunderland. I recruited star players from the championship (like Gera and such).

You could probably solve this by getting the star players from League 1 or you could even try raiding the teams in scotland (lower premiership or division 1)

Some of the premiership teams have some Irish lads in their reserves give them a try.
