Using the Weegie update I've recently started as Real Madrid.
First season was somewhat disappointing by managing only second in the league and quarter's of the CL.
I haven't really done too much to my squad, or changed my tactics. I have, however, changed the first XI and the improvement is noticeable. Currently sitting top of the pile (Dec of 2nd season).
My "first xi" throughout the first season was.... (4-2-4 wingers)
GK - Casillas
RD - S.Ramos
LD - Marcelo
CD - Cannavaro
CD - Pepe
CM - Gago
CM - Diarra
AMR - Nani (Robinho injured for 2nd half of season)
AML - Robben
CF - V.Nistelrooy
CF - Saviola / Raul / Soldado
Now, 2nd season and Robinho is fit and i've settled on Higuain as RVN's partner.
It's as if those two were the missing pieces of the jigsaw.
Has anyone else experienced a marked improvement with the slightest of line-up changes?
on a previous game, i coulnt score for gold, and one of my left wingers got sent off in match. I didnt have anyone else to play his position(both back ups injured) so i played a left back there, just for a game. It was v Boro, so not exactly hard, but anyway, he scored 2, and made 2. I won 5-0, and needless to say he started most games after that!
