i've signed Rusol but the fans were unsure about him as they thought he may unsettle the squad. done alright so far though.

Nazarenko from Dnipro, not a first teamer but good enough to be a bench man to beat the 12 foreigner rule.

Im gonna give shaktar a go after my current saved game,and shaktar will be my final challenge before fm08 comes out.So its a good idea to bring all the brazilian players over is it? has anyone signed any good european based players yet?

I think it depends on which update you have as to what you can attract. i am playing a game with weegie deadline day update, and i can't attract too much in terms of 'quality' europeans. can get good players from russia though.

you have the chance to sign a lot from south america. you can sign as many as you want, but just make sure you have 6 or more Ukrainians in your matchday squad as you can only play 12 Foriegners (non-ukrainians) in your matchday squad. you do have some decent Ukrainians already, but you will probably want to bring in a few to top you up. Search for Ukrainians in player search, filtering out unrealistic targets and scout the best players.

I thought i sounded like great fun, so I've started a game too, to accompany my atletico game, and as a last game before FM 08

I've already signed Waldo Ponce, Jo, Renato Augusto, Falcao, Tymoschuk (ukrainian), Yakovenko (ukrainian) and Daniel Carvalho, so I think I already have a pretty decent squad, but I've still got 32 mio in my transfer kitty, so any reccomendations are welcommed

Two questions, though:
1) Does a player with ukrainian second nationality count as a non-foreign player?
and if so;
2) How long does it take for a player to gain ukrainian second nationality?

Played one game, the Superkubok Ukrainy against Dinamo Kiev, which I won 2-0 with goals from Jadson and Fernandinho.

A little update:

I qualified for the Champions League after a 17-0 aggregated win against Astana, and a 3-0 win against Anderlecht.

I drew a tough group, though, consisting of Benfica, Sevilla and Liverpool
Only played one game in Champions League against Benfica away, but I somehow managed to lose that game 4-1 despite dominating the game.

The league, on the other hand, is going perfect with 8 wins in 8 games and a goalscore of 27-0
