I have just finished my 2nd season with Real Madrid using the 7.0.2 patch. I finished 2nd and 3rd in La Liga, won the spanish cup once and got knocked out of the Champions League twice at the 1st knock out stage. Had 2 horrible matches in the knock out stage in both seasons. My 1st season was actually better than my 2nd! I don't think I made the right purchases with my money and I'd like to get some advice this time pls.

I have been given 90 million to spend and I'm not sure how to spend it.

Any suggestions on how I should spend the 90 million pls? Where do you think my team needs strengtening?

Palacio really didn't impress me in his 1st season. I bought him for 50 million! Would really be happy to sell him and bring in a replacement. I was also thinking of getting rid of the aginf Riquelme and bring in a very good creative midfielder. Guti is still my 1st choice but still looking to replace him after Riquelme and Sneijder not working out.

I always a 4-42 formation. Sometimes with an AMR and an AML and sometimes with a MR and a ML. I would really like to bring in a player like Kaka or Diego. Creative AMC's who can also score goals. But from their position menu I can see that they don't play well in an MC position. So I would have to change my formation in order to gett he best out of them. Every time I tried playing with an AMC everything just goes wrong. What do you think I should do? Should I try bring them in and change formation or stick to a 4-4-2?

Buy Messi, check him release clause i managed to bag him for £44M worth every penny. You have a great talent in Higuain however you may wish to invest in another striker as your others are not very good. Try Bojan who usually has a release clause of around £7M, he a a great young talent. If you want bigger names go for Torres or Aguero who also may have a bargain of a release clause. Ladt of all you need a good CM who can hold the ball up and be the heart of your team. Try Raul Garcia or if possible bag Fabregas for around £25M.

without doubt kaka mate, im liverpool at the min and i signed kaka for the first time since he was at sau paulo in the CM games and he is absolutely brilliant. Ive never raved so much about a player on a game lol he's unplayable in an attacking mid position.I always play my own formations and 4-4-2 works very well the way i play it but after having advice off people in the kaka 46mil(or something) thread they said play him attacking mid, free role, v.high creativity... and hes my top scorer not even half way through the season with around 15 goals from that position. I agree with ste aswel messi is a must too! good look with your 90mil mate lol

what about Baptista? for a creative AM, try him, he can play DM too if your short. His long shots are goood. where is he?

Buy Kaka, Mascherano (or Fabregas, maybe both them) and maybe Behrami or Joaquin (or another AM R/L) and when swich formation to 4:2:3:1.

You also can put Ronaldo on the right and play Marcelo as AM L

then you need D C, so try to buy Corluka. And if Marcelo be your AM L, than sign Esparza as D L.

I just managed to sign Raul Garcia for 25 million. They were asking for about 80-100 million for him at the beginning of the game. So it looks like a real bargain.

Also I have a question about the release clause which might sound a bit stupid. Can someone pls explain what it means exactly?

I also noticed that I'm short of left backs. Roberto Carlos is past his best and his physical attributes are goind down. Maybe he can be a back-up. Last season I was using Marcelo most of the time but I alo like to play him as an AML. I usually switch between Marcelo and Silva. So strictly speaking I don't really have a good permanent LB. Can you pls recommend top class left backs or even future prospects?

And lastly I need a really good striker. As you said JamboSteven, Higuain looks like he's turning into a real good player but I need another one. How can I get the most money out of selling Palacio so that I can use the cash for a new ST? Which strikers would you recommend? Carlos Vela has just been bought by some weird unknown team. I was really counting on getting him but I don't think he'd want to come since he's just moved. What about Alexandre Pato? He looks a good prospect. They want 24 million for him. Should I buy? My dream striker is Villa at the moment. He looks really good and he's fast. But he's too expensive I think. What about Robinho? I had sold him to Man Utd. Do you think I should get him back cos I think it was a bit of a mistake to sell him.

Philipp Lahm is a godo WB, plays best as a WBL but also a great WBR. Chiellini is also great.

If your gonna go after a striker then Villa, Torres or Aguero are great if you can afford them, Sobis aint too bad either. I think if you are only playing one up front then you might want a bigger player that is more capable of heading.

Pato and Jo are also good, and should probably be cheaper options.

Take a look at all of them and see which one you think will suit your style better.
