Who in your team has earned Captain status and has done something out of the ordinary to move the club forward?
From scoring a league winning goal to keeping your team in a tough game, anything you believe has had a big impact on your club is suitable, feel free to post more than once and leave your comments of admiration.
Alessandro Tuia. He came from Lazio primavera, and spent at club his entire career in my Lazio game. Stopped play when he was 38 years old, so he played 20 seasons at the same club and won 7 Scudetto, 2 Champions League.. He also was Italian NT captain.
Wow, very loyal, its hard to come by loyalty nowadays. Usually someone comes along and puts in an interest in a bid to unsettle class players. Its always good when one of your best chooses to stay and performs even in his aging years.
Baptista in my Arsenal save. Retrained to DM and takes command of every game he plays. Due to his holding commitments he never really scored that many, but whenever he does they are wonderful and needed. Averages a solid 7.4 a season despite my unforgiving rotation policy
Lost the savegame, but at Feyenoord (and as USA manager) I had an American midfielder regen who was a born leader, and very very good. Needless to say he started on both teams and I called him Captain America (much, much better than Claudio Reyna).
When I left USA/Feyenoord, he was bought by AC Milan and started for them.
David Shaw, a regen and a product of Bolton, who lead my Nottingham Forest side to Champions League and Premiership glory! Then was so loyal at the club that he didn't follow me to Bayern Munich! (As I planned to leave once I achieved Champions League glory!)
