but I can't afford HIM, so who do I go for, I could probably scrape together about £25m for a partiner for Rooney, I need someone who I can give the ball to, and he will hold it up and be able to find rooney on the surging forward runs, first season btw.
N.B, I sold Smith, and don't liek Bianchi, tried him before. I want someone top class, with good physical attributes, but also knows where the net is, I need someone who is good enough to play against the top teams, not an eddie johnson type player who does well against the average teams.
So £25-30m who do I get?

Nut much help but you shouldn't have sold Smith mate.
If you're pre-patch you can get Klose for £30m, or Iaquinta for around £11.

7.0.2, and as for smith, the guy cant hit a barn door with a banjo never mind put a pass infront of Rooney, I am thinking about Toni, He might be about 18m, but that is for 3 years (at least) service, and by that time, I should have other options.

I say give Klose a punt, I'm pretty sure you can still get him for that price in 7.0.2. He's not cheap, but by far and away the best TM in the game for the next 3/4 years.

bianchi for a cheaper option....
him and rooney got 30 goals each first season in one of my old games....
think he'll cost you around 4-5 mil on that patch at the start of the game

I am signing Johnson as a super sub sort of thing (hes done well like that for me) so Klose might be out of my price range. I also really need a winger as back up for Giggs as he is getting on, I have tried Caesaer Delgado before, but he never plays well on the wing despite having the stats for it, so I need someone who will be happy to chop and change with gigs as the season progresses.
