Well, I just finished my first season with Villa, and I have won the Premier league, and the FA Cup.
I have used 2 tactics all season, the first half i used Rekluse's 352 formation that worked wonderfully.
He set up a thread dedicated to it, and i recommend you read it.

If i struggled in a game, i just switched to the standard 4-3-3 tactic, but changed the player instructions to match their position.

Higuain and Moore have been the stars of my season, with 23 and 18 goals respectively.
Sorenson was very solid in goal averaging 7.67
Vanden Borre got the most assists in the league with 12.
Some of the young players i bought, haven't strated yet, although Nicolas Millan seems to be somehting of a trouble maker having fallen out with Juan Pablo Angel and Clint Dempsey while being tutored, this is the reason i bough in Jose Luis Silva, as a fello country man of the same age.
Okaka looks phenomenal, but suffered a broken leg.
With regards training, i haven't really done anything with this, just left iot on general.
Second season, and despite my success no major cash injection, paltry £525k for wages, and a 9.5M Transfer budget.

Newcastle were relegated, so they seemed a good target for solid players, and Bakircioglu was one for old times sake.
Still not started season 2, but expectations are increased, and i guess the AI will crack my 2 formations soon enough.
