Does Isaiah Osbourne get any good in the future? He's doing well in my reserves, 4 goals in 5 games.

I'm re-training him to a DMC though, I think he'd be useful there.

His stats barely improved at all on my game. I gave him some first team chances but nothing came of it. He just became back up for injury crisis

i just finished my first season with villa.

Like many others, i asked RL for more money at the start and got £35m

signings:

defoe - £17m
juan seba veron - £1m
bo zenden - £3.9m

got rid of a lot of players at the start - had a good clearout. struggled slightly in the league whilst the team found their feet and finished 12th in the end.

Was runner up in the FA cup losing to Arsenal so have qualified for Uefa cup because of that.

Just beginning start of second season now, only made 2 signings so far being tim howard - £2.5m and justin hoyte - £2m

gonna try and push for top 6 this season.

renegademasta,

well done on finishing your first season with the villa. slightly confused however, by your decision to sign veron and zenden? surely for £5m you could've bought two players who would improve your squad beyond what it already is (remember, you already have wastes of space in mdifield such as hendrie, djx2, berger, etc).

justin hoyte looks like he should be a good signing. i was tempted by him in my 3rd season, but kept faith and decided to let newcastle take him.

what sort of tactics are you playing with? 12th isn't too bad, especially if you've got UEFA cup football to contend with in season 2.

good luck with the villa, and keep us updated on your progress.

for all those awaiting the end results of my 4th season at villa, i will hopefully finish that this evening or tomorrow, so will give you all comprehensive feedback next week.

Cheers Superheroes!

Just a wee note on Ozzy, his stats don't really increase as such, but he does play superbly for me. He's averaging 7.82 in my 4th season and touted as the next Steven Gerrard. Definitely worth keeping hold of.

How's your game coming along?

Pretty good! I'm 2nd in the league after 7 games, 5 wins and 2 losses. I haven't played any of the big 4 yet though, so I don't how I'll fair against them! :p

Eddie Johnson seems to be settling in nicely, 3 goals in 3 games, and he's just put 2 in against Everton Milan Baros and Luke Moore are also getting goals, so hopefully we can get a good finish in the league, and a nice run in the cups!

Delfouneso looks promising in my youth team too, 13 goals in 17, and he's only 15 yrs old =)

Well I felt it was appropriate to give a mini update on how my game is going. Well the answer is not bad. The squad seems very capable so far but we've yet to face the big 4 teams. Just like in real life my team is defiantly regarded as draw specialists.

Since I was advise to strengthen the squad as it lacked depth i brought in these playersand Adu on loan.
