I guess it is better to be a lucky manager than a good one. Im sure things will come good eventually Villasparks. Try buying Eddie Johnson as well, I sold Baros as well for 2.5M and he is doing rubbish at Blackburn

Just finished my second season with the villa. Finished 4th and won the league cup after bit of a struggle in the first season. Love the huge money Randy gives me but always struggle to get the top players into the club, annoying! This is my squad at the mo.

Gk- akinfeev, enyeama.
Dr- ratinho, amaral, ryan taylor.
dl- aurelio, pocognoli, barry.
dc- ignashevich, mellberg, cahill.
mid- guardado, maldonado, petrov, arouca, davis, modric, renato augusto.
f- falcao, palacio, jo, eddie johnson, moore.

The ignashevish and mellberg are rock solid at the back. Arouca, petrov, modric and augusto do a fantastic job in midfield. Eddie johnson is fantastic buy him if you can. Moore continues to score at will.

Trying to sign gago from boca at the mo, but must qualify for europe this season or could be for the chop!!!

Well, if you'll consider taking advice off someone who admits to not doing any good (see above ).

I'd take McCann over Hendrie any day of the week, its worth it for his tackling and work-rate.

Take a look at M. Jiranek at DR, I picked him up for 850K and he's not bad at all.

Just been offered to manage liverpool!!! They were offering a shed load of money for transfers, about £30m and £1.4m for wages!

Told them to stuff it.

Villa 4 ever!!!

Ive never really had Moore in the first team, I have Johnson , Angel, Agbonlahor and Carioccolo (speeling) all in front of him. In the second season and he is on loan at newly promoted Southampton, although I am not renewing Angel's contract at the end of the season, is it worth giving Moore a run in the first team

YES. Moore is my number 1 choice in my sixth season. In the first two seasons he would get about 10 to 15 a season. By the third he was getting 20+ a season.

I ended up selling Agbonlahor. He scored just 1 goal in the season and was playing poorly. Tottenham took him off my hands and paid £7m for Delfouneso. He was looking good but would have never got into the first team for me.
