Coming up to January in my 3rd season now. I'm now one of the big 4. Man Utd have fallen way out this season, they're mid table.

Managed to get through my champions league group. Came top in a group with Rangers, Shaktah and Real Madrid. Been good in Europe so far. Got to the quarter final of the UEFA cup last season. Doubt I'll get far in champions league though. Have to play Valencia.

Finally got a Japanese feeder club so hopefully I can make a bit of money out of that.

The league this season has been getting harder. Managed to get a run together to be in 3rd but I doubt I'll get higher. Chelsea are running away with it and Arsenal and Liverpool are looking good at the minute. Guess 4th is I can aim for this season.

Gabby is really getting good now on my game. For the last 2 seasons he was mainly a sub or coming in for injuries but now he's holding down a first team spot.

Im into my thirs season with Villa and Delfouneso looks very good. His stats arnt great (finishing only 10) but he has only just come in Full time so hopefully the training will improve him. I ontroduced him towards the end of the 2nd season after he just turned 17 and he scored 10 in 12 in the league (including 2 in the League Cup final against Man Utd!!)

I think he will be class so im not buying anymore strikers with him and Foti up front!

Delfouneso has become quality on my game has 16 finishing. Just at the begining of my 4th season. He has 2 so far. Too bad he has Moore, Agbonlahor and Maloney ahead of him at the moment.

Managed to finish my 3rd season in 4th, only 2 points off second. Would have to play Chelsea on the last day. Got to the Champions League semi. Beat by Chelsea again. Lost the first game 3-1. Second game I all the possesion. Having over 20 shots. Chelsea didn't get a single shot away. Cech had an amazing day saving everything.

I'm at the start of my first season with Aston Villa. First season I made several signings (as you do) and even got my transfer kitty up to 40 million after a request for more funds.
First season signings -
James Beattie (Everton)- 6m
Joey Barton (Man City)- 13m
Kevin Nolan (Bolton)- 11m
Stuart Downing (Boro)- 18m
Zat Knight (Fulham)- 2.5m (bargain)
Stephen Naismith (Kilmarnok)- 800k-ish
Nakamura (Celtic) - 5m
Greg Halford - 800k

I also got rid of people such as Milan Barros and Djemba-Djemba to afford such a hefty shopping list.

I finished 8th in the league (just about) and won a 5-4 thriller in the FA cup final, with Beattie and Luke more on fire all season. (Luke More got fans player of the year)

Second season I was satisfied with my squad and opted to just sign David Jarolim and Pascal Chimbonda (both costing around ten million) to sort out my right midfield and defence problems (my only weak area.) And I also got Ben Foster for a relatively cheap price of 2.7 million.

I managed to finish 4th in the league and win the UEFA cup after a very lucky run of teams (missed out on all the big boys) on the way to the final, beating Lazio 3-1

Luke Moore was sensational again and my new wide right signings really helped, although Beattie had an injury plagued season and his stats fell dramatically, leaving me to think he'd never get them back up.

However in my third season having only signed Alan Smith (4 Million) as an extra striker (due to Beattie's prolonged absense and drop in stats) Beattie had an amazing pre season and his stats flew back up. Currently in September sitting in second place in the league.

Nathan Delfonso looks to be a very good player for the future also.

Why on earth did you waste 6mil on Beattie when there are far more players out there for the same value. I managed to sign Jo from CSKA for 6.25mil and he's amazing and has so many years ahead of him.
