Im 5th at the moment and its mid jan season 1. I have signed Huddlestone, Johnson & Adu. I have also been after Vanden Borre and Kompany to strengthen my back line. I play one up front with AML/R 2 MC's and a DMC.

MY improvement only came from Nov, before i was 15th with 1 win in 11!!!

1st season at villa, how do i get rid of that assistant manager?? i can't let him go on a free or on a mutual... and he won't accept a new contract to become a coach...

do you have any idea to sell Milan Baros ? None of the club got interested with him...I'm on my first season (after 1st half-January Transfer)...Portsmouth was interested, but never really asked about him...So i tried to give him a sale price...6 million..still no one buy...coz...He did not really perform...so many open goal chances, yet...haha...and i wanted to buy cesar delgado to replace him..

Just finished 3rd in my first season with the Villans. New signings Iaquinta (£10m'ish) and Ivanildo (£500k from porto) won player of the year and young player of the year. Also signed german defender Russ in the mid-season transfer window, has been great and landed on a 7,50 avg.

Only other signing is Enyeama, GK.. but he's ********. Big goalie problem, needs to be solved in order to bring home the trophy to Birmingham next season

Luke Moore top goalscorer due to Iaquinta being injured quite a bit (and it took a while for him to gel). Citeh got relegated, so snapped up Micah Richards for £6M

All in all, luvin' playing with them. Have signed shitloads of new staff, Ray Clemence and Franco Baresi. Not renewing my assmans contract cause he sucks balls.

Tactically i have four drilled in tactics that i rotate a nice defensive 4-4-2, a 4-2-2-2 (MC MC AMR AML SC SC) and 4-1-2-2-1 (DMC MC MC AMR AML SC).. high tempo, narrow play, two notches left of mixed passing, and mixin' it up with counter attack sometimes, and Target man (angel/iaq) / running boy (luke moore, milan baros) upfront.

Started a game with Villa on the new patch after reading this thread and straight away asked Lerner for more money which he obliged. So with a budget of 43 million this is what i put together

Also in my squad but out on loan is the 2 young midfielders Gardner and Osbourne. I currently sit 2nd in the league a point behind Man U but 7 points clear of 3rd place Chelsea. Results have been excellent against the so called big 4. I have beat them all. Also into the semi final of the league cup. I have just reached the january transfer window in my game and still have 13 million to spend which i want to spend on a right winger (any advice on who i could get would be most welcome). I also had Landon Donovan on loan but he did his cruciates so i terminated the loan as he was going to be out for the season. One last thing i would like to add is about a striker in my youth team called Nathan Delfuneso. Does anyone know if this lad becomes any good in the future as at the minute he has a goal a game record for my U18's and he is only 15 but worth 950k. Thanks in advance

Delfuneso seems to be doing the same thing on my game !

U seem to have bought nearly the same players as me, so how are you doing in the league? I was abysmal until about november when i went from 17th to 5th in february lol
