Ozzy has been improved to reflect his position as a first member. There are a few other changes, additional youth players, increased CA for young players in the first team squad and most notably the finances.

Started a Villa game after i downloaded the patch its christmas in my first season and doing well. Sitting in joint 4th with Man Utd.

Transfers in - Tomas Sivok £2million (sparta prague)
Shunsuke Nakamura £5million (Celtic)
Steven Naismith £350k (kilmarnock)

Transfers Out - Djemba Djemba £1.7million
Didier Agathe £500k

My friend asked for more money during mid July after the Chairman demanded high profile signing, he asked for more funds and got extra 21m. This is with the patch of course.

More or less right at the very start.

7.0.1 mind you.

I've taken over Villa in Januray of the 4th season after quitting Man Utd.

They had a good squad, bought players like King, O'Neil and Diaby. Gave me 28m to spend too.

Will post any transfers I make when I get back to the game

I just asked there didnt no they would accept so i did it on the 1st January 2006 and he accepted.

at the very start of the game he said to me that i had already enough resources to do my job with.
i also tried it when he asked for higher profile players, with no effect.
so i guess it 'll have to be in january.

Can anyone post a tactic which has worked great with Villa?
I keep ending at 4th to 7th pos every season.

dude standard 4-4-2 works fine, Finished 3rd in first season(the boys flopped with 4 games to go). played with 2 wingers, DM and AM.
in second season and just switched to 4-3-2-1. still winning, great team.
