Can anyone please give me a good Villa tactic?
I created my own, which worked amazingly during pre-season, but once PL kicked off i started loosing. scored around 25 goals in pre season with a defensive system, Baros and Angel where amazing.

I've just started with Villa, and went to the board to get that extra £5m transfer kitty to play with.
So far I should be Gtting Enyeama and Vilakazi (depending on Work Permits) for £250k each, and should be getting Landon Donovan for £4.1m, again dependant on Work Permit. I'm pushing to get Vanden Borre, but Anderlecht are being stubborn and rejecting all my offers so far (and I'm reluctant to go over £2m). I'm also bidding for Petri Pasanen, to try and clean up our messy defence once and for all.
Also, after reading through this thread, it seems that Baros will inevitably be leaving for Pompey (which is fine by me, no matter how good he is in the game I can't stand him). So whatever I get for him I'll throw at the squad.

coming to the end of another season, already won the league cup in the semi finals of both the fa cup and champs league and sittin on top of prem with only a handle of games 2 go with a 10point lead :thup: will upload screen shots when the 4 trophies are mine

what am i doing wrong, i'm into my second season and the club is in financial crisis. Club is in debt. Finished 6th last season and still in UEFA cup this year. i went to the board right after taking the job to ask for more funds and was told no, so had to work with the 5 mil you start with. did ok and was happy with 6th. offered new contract and got a 15 mil kitty but now club is in debt by 6 mil, what is happening here!!!!

Im playing with Villa too... is anyone using Gary Cahill as a DC.. he seems to be playing very well for me. Im also playing Agbonlahor on the right wing and his pace is immense!!
