Im surprised about Trezeguet, he's a 20 goal a season man.
If you still have Owen, you'd need a more target man style figure, Eddie Johnson is brilliant for this, but he might have been bought by someone else. Giampaolo Pazzini is awesome, great striker. Jo from CSKA Moscow is fantastic, but he won't improve much.

Trezeguet is a quality TM, get balls played to his head and get him Hold Up Ball, he should turn out a good signing for you.

Don't forget some players need time to settle at new clubs, give Trezeguet time he should do the the business for you.
