I am romping everything and gona get the bag!

Yup. Deal fell thro.

Won the league cup and the league before the split.

Got Rangers coming up in the semi of the scottish cup and real madrid knocked me out of CL. Got a new 3 year deal too.

Decent first season so far. The treble is on!!!!

Celtic stats appear well researched. I'm 8 points clear just after the christmas fixtures. Porto in the Champions league knockout round, quarters of CIS cup v motherwell and 4th round of Scots cup against Rangers.

Brought in Warnock on loan, Jeorn Dorst and signed Aaron Hunt from Bremen. Sold Pearson, before letting lennon, thompson and telfer leave for buttons. Agreements reached for Stokes (Arsenal), O'Hara (Tottenham) and Dalmat.

Maloney and McGeady have been Awesome with Magic and VoH scoring for fun.

Using a this tatic, along these lines (barring injuries)

GK Boruc
RB Wilson LB Warnock
CB Balde CB Caldwell

DMC Gravesen

AMC Nakamura
AMR McGeady AML Maloney

CF VoH CF Magic

Wilson, Warnock, McGeady, Nakamura and Maloney all arrowed forward....goals, goals, goals. Sno is a fabulous player who is being used intelligently. Other young players used inc. Kennedy (returned from serious injury), Cuthbert (loaned 1st part of season), McGlinchey and Ferry.

Lost only one game (ICT away) and drawn 5.Around 17//18 wins. Looking good for the treble...

Marc

PS training and coaching maked a huge difference to your performances and results. Much better interaction than fm2oo6.

Just finished my first season in charge...

- Started of the season by beating Real Madrid in a Friendly Cup Final, good morale booster.
- Got knocked out of the CIS Cup Semi Finals by Rangers.
- Got knocled out of the Champions League Knockout Phase by Man Utd 2-1 on agg.
- Going in to the last game of the season I was one point ahead of Rangers after trailing until the second last match, and the last game was at Ibrox resulting in a 5-2 victory for the mighty hoops! No better place to retain the league championship!
- Finished the season off by beating Hibs 3-1 in the Scottish Cup Final.

Pretty happy with a double in my first season but dropped too many points in the league for my liking and can never be happy about being put out of the CIS Cup by that bunch.

Players In: None.
Players Out: Paul Telfer, Jacob Lensky, Michael Gardyne.

Got a busy close season ahead getting my squad the way I want it and hopefully prepare for a successful second season.

Well how could I resist going Celtic as my first job and its been happy times all the way.

Season 1

I started off with a clear out of dead wood, got 14 million in sales and spent about 8.5 million in players all young and ready to take on the challenge of fisrt team action.

Working on a straight up 4-4-2 with direct passing, quick tempo and counter attack

Players i bought in this season - dagoberto 1.4 mil ( release clause ), Sasha Iakovenco 220k (scored 40 goals in total), Sivok 2.2 mil, Brian Kerr 425k, Kirk Broadfoot 500k, Pocognoli 1.4mil, Owen Garvan 1 mil, Skjelbred 1.8 mil and Vecchio 250k

Great mix of youth there to be educated by the rest of the squad.

This season I lost out on the LC and SC but won the League by a point and got as far as the last 16 of the ECL. By the end of the season I had a rather large bank roll due to selling 14 mill of players and Champions league money.

Season 2

I got taken over by russian tycoon never had this happen to me ever

He gave me a transfer budget of 30 million, well I put that to good use and signed Kompany for 15 million, Sturridge from man city for 5 and Renato Augusto for 10 mill, then sold balde for 1 mill and got Tudor for 900k

Won the league at a canter won the LC lost the SC, madie it into the ECL group stages by beating Athletic Madrid might i add 5 -0 at home and 2 -1 away

Season 3 (current)

Well my wonderful chairman demanded I sign him a star or 2 after he gave me a cash injection of 25 million. So I set about my quest and signed Walcott 14.75 mill, Okaka 4.5 mill and wayne bridge on a free.

Topping the table no problem and my ECL group was won and topped with ease, only drew one game against lyon, currently on and unbeaten run of 65 games.

Cant wait to contiune this game as my average age for the team is only 23 and they have planty of yrs ahead of them.

The entire of my first season there was links of a possible takeover but they constantly hit the rocks. Really frustrating to find out that you get an endless chequebook when they do get taken over. I've scrimped and scraped to build a transfer budget of just over £6m for season 2

I've decided to write a story on my Celtic career if anyone's interested...

Thought there would be more people with experiences of managing Celtic in FM07 than this!

Just getting into my 2nd season with Celtic. In my first I won the league although finished joint top with Rangers and pipped it on Goal difference. I did have a 10 point lead but a consortium takeover loomed above my head and if they were successful I was being replaced by Sven (he wishes). Thankfully this never went ahead. Got through to the knock out phase in the CL and although I beat Arsenal at home they hammered me at the Emirates.

I've just started my second season and the team is looking great (just hammered Inter 4-1 at Parkhead). I'm going for width in my games with Guardado on the left and Walcott on the right. Walcott came as a surprise signing but him and Wenger fell out so I swooped. McGeady wouldn't sign a new contract so he got punted to West Ham and I couldn't resist a swoop for Anthony Stokes seeing as he is on fire up here in the SPL just now (he scored on his debut). Zurawski is phenomenal and a loyal player who doesn't respond to other clubs sniffing about him. Team is as follows:

Boruc

Wilson Caldwell Sno Naylor

Walcott Jarosik Naka Guardado

Zurawski JVoH/Miller

Subs:

Stokes, Adu, Maloney, Balde, McManus, Williams, Marshall

Anyone else got any good suggestions for players etc????

Hail Hail!
