Has anyone ever brought through a regen from their academy who has went on to at least be capped by their country?

Im saying this because all of my best regens were leached from other clubs at the age of 15/16/17. Ive never had a half decent player come through my own academy in the full year ive been playing this game, even though my training and youth facilities were top notch.

Anyone?

Yeah, at Feyenoord I had a couple capped for Holland. A few others capped for some Caribbean Islands (I don't count those, since I never load them).

One regen was a Scottish youth who came through my youth, was capped at age 19, and is probably the best DM in the game.

I've had a couple with my Spartak Moscow game that came up and were capped, one from South Africa, one for the US (im a yank) and one for Russia. Always nice to see them get there first caps, makes me proud.

That sucks. Ive had a couple hit the u21's and u19's but none go any further.

and its not down to me not developing them enough, as i said ive brought players in with great potential and developed them just fine. I just dont seem to get any great potential from my own academy

Bad luck I guess. So you've never gotten "<playername> could be one of the best players of his generation" in the AssMan youth system report?

Nah, always get "one of the most gifted youth players to come through in recent years" Which, as Wolverhampton Wanderers, means he'll be league one/league two capable if potential is fulfilled.

It sucks because the Wolves academy is pretty productive in real life Robbie Keane, Jo Lescott, Lee Naylor etc

my longest game at lazio currently in 2017 i get a bunch of youngsters every year. i have got one with pa over 170 but he didnt even make it to the reserv team and was sold.

i always search for talents in the other top team in italy. milan and inter seem to get a few every year.one of inters strikers is their regen and worth 38 mill and have fantasitc stats

I've only ever had one at Liverpool.

he is on loan somewhere at the moment but he will be ready to mix into the first team squad upon return

he is a northern irish 'guardado/marcelo' type of wingback who is really a winger.

I had one player, who was from Lazio yough academy and played in National Team. It was Matteo Trerossi. A wonderkid striker, who had an apportunity to learn from Aguero and become world-class player. Actually i had another striker, who was on his way to National team, but when i stopped play.

There were two-three more good players from my yough accademy, but i sold them very young because my assistent manager said they have no future at my club. Later one of them was Internazionale leader and got a call to Italian NT.

But most of my discovered playeres were from other Italy teams (Roma, Inter, Juventus & Palermo, Udinese). From these clubs i bought 6 youngsters and they all become great players. I also bring one 17 years old croatian who later was very good defender
