ive i had one clean sheet all season i'm about 30 games into my second season at southampton in 2009 in the premership. i duno if it my tactics or players. i usually play 4-3-1-2, 4-1-3-2 or 4-3-3. with short passing and a slow tempo with an attacking and creative mentalties.

i know my squad can be improved in most areas and i'm definatly goin to be bringing in a new keeper and i have Civelli coming in on a free.

any help would be great

take your attacking mentality down to normal

ive tired doing that and lots of other tactical changes so am starting to think its my players but i'm not sure as the players i have should good enough to atleast hold a lead or keep sum clean sheets.

your team is decent but im conceding loads in my first season in the prem with a defence of hoyte, cahais, hobbs & mathjison and kirkland in goal. Give your team chance to settle down in a set formation, theres a huge gap from the prem to the championship

your team needs to settle on your tactics so leave them for a month or two everything will work out

how long do they need to settle cos i'm in march and i allways play with a back four and the rest of the formation changes are usually down to injuries and one of my defenders allways gets a 5. its jus more annoyin cos i know my team will score goals and i think ive scored atleast one goal in everygame and id say more than 50% of my games ive scored 1st and i don't think trying to defend for 70mins plus wud work. is it jus harder to defend in 08

i have the same problem with my man utd team, its not a major crisis but my defense can occasionally cost me a game
