Hi guys.

I've just started my first FM2005 game, and i went with Altrincham, in the conference north (basically as they're based just down the road from me). Only a few games in so far, and i have a quick question. I'm only three games into the season, so it may just be too early, but i've got no reserve fixtures. I'm wondering, assuming i'm not getting any reserve games this year, what affects when it will happen. Is it simply no-one has a reserve team at this level and i'd need to wait (i mean pray ) for promotion, is it that i'm a part time club, is it the fact i had no "real" players in my reserves at the start of the season, or something else?

Try to schedule friendlies for your reserves.

Reserve teams start to compete in Reserve Leagues at Conference National level.

a) i cant be arsed sifting through all the posts from people who've never played a lower team than Man United, but would want to tell me how their team won the reserve league 7 times in a row or something. And while i knew that i'd probably get told to sod off to GQ by someone , i also knew i'd probably get the answer as well (thanke UELLfan).

b) It was a good excuse to pop my head back in here, as for a while this was the only place i posted at all (if still very infrequently, as i was more of a lurker).

Never said, that you have to go to GQ. Just said that it is probably a GQ question.

And quite frankly... it is.
Not hanging in LLM is certanly bad for you
